HERRINGBONE

The brief was to turn this dated apricot bathroom around and be replaced with a modern / contemporary functional space with a difference!

The focal point and the hero of this design has to be the ‘herringbone’ feature wall a simple but, very effective design element creating sophistication and interest.

When having a neutral colour scheme the best way to create interest in a space is by introducing effective textures or tile styles like the herringbone. Which then gives you the opportunity to keep changing towel colours with accessories over time.

Carrying through the theme from the main bathroom into the powder room a strip of feature ‘Herringbone’ tiles was included on the wall as a nice detail.

This project was such a wonderful transformation, thanks to ‘Bench Mark bathroom renovation’ team for their excellent workmanship.

Clients Testimonial –

“When it came time for us to renovate our Bathroom we found the task quite overwhelming - we had no idea where to start. From choosing tiles to selecting the item, to the design it was all confusing. We wanted something contemporary but also different with a bit of a wow feature. Then we met Rebecca from Flair Design.

Rebecca came and met with us to get and idea of what we wanted, she drafted a layout, came with us to select tiles and fittings and was always available whenever we needed her. Rebecca is the ultimate professional. She is friendly and easy to get along with and she knows her stuff. We could not be happier with our Bathroom and would recommend Rebecca for any design needs you may need”.
